Montegiachi is the name of a very ancient agricultural estate,
owned for more than six centuries by the noble family Cinughi
de Pazzi from Siena.
In the vicinity of the fortress-like
villa inhabited by the owners stand several buildings of
great architectonical value, surrounded by a park
of centuries-old, magnificent evergreen oaks. The whole - recognized
as national monument - is situated in a position with a
magnificent view and can be easily reached both from Florence
and Siena.
